The River Club
Summer is here… and it’s time to enjoy the many outdoor experiences that our community has to offer. Whether you’re heading into town or exploring just outside your doorstep, River Club residents are never far from their next outdoor adventure! Ready to get started? Here’s five simple ideas to get you started:
Chase birdies… on the golf course.
For those looking to get outside and hit the links, it doesn’t get much better. The River Club offers world-class golf in a Certified Audubon Sanctuary setting. And Hall-of-Fame player and designer Greg Norman took full advantage of the natural topography. The 7,212-yard, par-72 course features dramatic elevation changes and spectacular views of the Chattahoochee River Valley.
Slide over to the pool for a dip.
When it’s time to cool off under the warm Georgia sunshine, look no further than the pool. For the young and the young at heart, our three swimming pools offer a fun and relaxing escape. Spend the spring and summer days catching some rays by the water, or take a wet and wild trip down the waterslide neighbors and friends!
Take a ride (or a stroll) on the Chattahoochee River Trail.
Nestled between The River Club and the Chattahoochee River is a meandering 1.4 mile trail featuring multiple trail heads, stunning scenic overlooks, and benches for when you feel like taking a rest in nature. Along the trail, you’ll be greeted by a variety of flora and fauna – from river birches that sway gracefully in the wind to the call of great blue herons and the tapping of woodpeckers.
Hit the courts.
Whether you prefer to volley for serve or shoot some hoops, the Lakeside Sports Center offers a court the prove that you’ve got game. Grab a racquet and hit one of our eight lighted tennis courts, or circle up the neighbors for a pick-up game of basketball on the all-purpose court. You won’t have to travel very far no matter what you decide to play!
Pick a Park, Any Park….
Looking to explore some outdoor fun beyond the River Club gates? You’re in luck… there are plenty of parks for play and exploration! Start in the heart of our community at the Suwanee Town Center Park where kids can cool down in the splash playground. If nature is what you seek, explore the 300+ acre George Pierce Park, complete with trails, fields, playgrounds, and more. Hungry? Pack a picnic for the family and head down by the water at Sim Lake Park!
The River Club offers neighbors and residents numerous ways to enjoy the great outdoors.
So get up… get out… and explore all there is to enjoy just outside your door!
